Scientist and founder profile video

People back people. Show them who's doing the work.

Plan your film

Who it's for: Founders, principal investigators, CSOs and physician-innovators — and the communications teams that support them.

The most persuasive asset a science company has is usually a person: the scientist who's been on the problem for fifteen years, or the physician who saw the gap firsthand. A profile film puts that person in front of investors, candidates, partners and press — at scale.

We film profiles like short documentaries. A long, relaxed interview that we coach for clarity rather than script, followed by time in the lab, clinic or field. Most scientists are more compelling than they think; our job is to get past the conference-talk version.

Profiles age well. They work on your website, in recruiting, at conferences and in press kits for years, and they're easy to update with a new chapter.

How we handle it

  • Interview coaching for non-performers

Questions

How do you prepare scientists for on-camera interviews?

We send questions by theme (not a script), do a relaxed pre-call, film the interview as a conversation, and let people restart any answer. Most people are comfortable within ten minutes.

How long is the shoot?

Usually one day: a long interview and time in the work environment.
