Pharmaceutical video production
Films that move through MLR review because they were planned for it from the start.
Who it's for: Pharma and biopharma communications, medical affairs, corporate affairs and HR teams.
Pharmaceutical content succeeds or stalls in medical-legal-regulatory (MLR) review. Promotional material about a prescription drug has to present benefits and risks with fair balance, and the FDA's Office of Prescription Drug Promotion oversees it. Late changes in review are what blow up schedules and budgets.
So we plan for review up front: we agree which content is promotional, which is disease education, and which is corporate, because each is handled differently. We submit scripts and annotated storyboards for review before we film, capture enough coverage to make changes in the edit, and deliver clean versions with every reference traced.
Many pharma teams hire us for the work around the product rather than the product itself: culture and recruitment films, patient-advocacy partnerships, medical-affairs interviews and congress coverage.
How we handle it
- Script and storyboard review before production
- Referenced scripts and caption files for review packets
- Coverage planned for likely review edits
- Corporate, culture and recruitment work that sits outside promotional review
